The fourth face-to-face meeting of the Erasmus + project TranSuMan - Advanced training on sustainable management of pastoral systems, was held on November from 23rd to 24th, 2023, in Valencia (Spain).

The consortium is formed by the University of Camerino (Italy), as coordinator, as well as three Partners: Catholic University of Valencia (Spain), University of Thessaly (Greece), and Babes Bolyai University (Romania).

On the first day, students from different degrees of the Catholic University of Valencia have participated in a Hackathon (contest) organized by the Erasmus+ project "TranSuMan-Advanced Training on Sustainable Management of pastoral systems" which has aimed to bring the study of transhumance and the environmentally sustainable impact it has to the university students.

In the activity, the students were asked the question of why transhumance is environmentally sustainable and these, divided into teams, had to search for information and arguments to answer the question and record them in a video that was later viewed by professors from the different universities participating in the project.

On the second day, the Hackathon continued with the presentation of the work by the students and the subsequent deliberation by the Jury, composed of professors and researchers from the participating universities.

On this second day, the Final Conference of the project was also held, in which different researchers presented their work. Final proposals were also made in relation to the progress made in the project, as well as strategies to ensure its impact on society. Finally, proposals for the continuity of the training and research actions in the medium term were discussed among the members of the consortium.

With the Hackathon and the Final Conference, the face-to-face activities of this Consortium, coordinated by the University of Camerino (Italy) together with the University of Thessaly (Greece), Babes Bolyai University (Romania), and the Catholic University of Valencia, came to an end.

Dal 23 al 24 novembre 2023, a Valencia (Spagna), si è tenuto il quarto incontro in presenza del progetto Erasmus+ TranSuMan - Formazione avanzata sulla gestione sostenibile dei sistemi pastorali.
Il consorzio è formato dall'Università di Camerino (Italia), in qualità di coordinatore, e da tre partner: Università Cattolica di Valencia (Spagna), Università della Tessaglia (Grecia) e Università Babes Bolyai (Romania).
Il primo giorno, studenti di diversi gradi dell'Università Cattolica di Valencia hanno partecipato ad un Hackathon (concorso) organizzato dal progetto Erasmus+ "TranSuMan-Formazione avanzata sulla gestione sostenibile dei sistemi pastorali" che ha avuto l'obiettivo di avvicinare lo studio della transumanza e dell’impatto ambientale sostenibile che ha sugli studenti universitari.
Nell'attività è stato posto agli studenti il quesito del perché la transumanza è sostenibile e questi, divisi in squadre, hanno dovuto cercare informazioni e argomentazioni per rispondere alla domanda mentre venivano registrati in un video che è stato poi visionato dai professori delle diverse università che hanno partecipato al progetto.
Nella seconda giornata, l'Hackathon è proseguito con la presentazione dei lavori da parte degli studenti e il successivo deliberamento della Giuria, composta da professori e ricercatori delle università partecipanti.
In questa seconda giornata si è tenuta anche la Conferenza Finale del progetto, nella quale diversi ricercatori hanno presentato il proprio lavoro. Sono state inoltre avanzate proposte finali in relazione ai progressi compiuti nel progetto, nonché alle strategie per garantirne l'impatto sulla società. Infine, tra i membri del consorzio sono state discusse proposte per la continuità delle azioni di formazione e ricerca nel medio termine.
Con l'Hackathon e la Conferenza Finale, le attività in presenza di questo Consorzio, coordinato dall'Università di Camerino (Italia) insieme all'Università della Tessaglia (Grecia), all'Università Babes Bolyai (Romania) e all'Università Cattolica di Valencia sono giunte al termine.The fourth face-to-face meeting of the Erasmus + project TranSuMan - Advanced training on sustainable management of pastoral systems, was held on November from 23rd to 24th, 2023, in Valencia (Spain).
